Striker has hit the ground running in PL
While Liam Delap was always seen as a promising talent at Manchester City, the striker has surprised everyone with how comfortable he has looked in the Premier League since his switch to Ipswich in the summer.
The centre-forward has found the back of the net six times this season, which is particularly impressive when one considers that Ipswich are in the drop zone, having managed a total of just 16 goals in 16 league outings this season.
It has been widely reported over recent weeks that Tottenham are plotting a move for the 21-year-old as Ange Postecoglou looks to add more firepower to his frontline.

Chelsea and Juventus enter race for Spurs target Liam Delap
TEAMtalk have now revealed that the Blues have ‘taken note’ of Delap‘s performances this season and have been impressed by the youngster.
They are not the only ones, with The Mirror revealing that the 21-year-old is also on the radars of Juventus, who view him as a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahovic.
The outlet claims that the Old Lady will sell the Serbian if he does not sign a new contract and push ahead with a move for the Ipswich man.
MORE SPURS STORIES
In fact, it is asserted that the Bianconeri have already sent their scouts to England on many occasions this season to run the rule over the Manchester City academy graduate.

Ipswich will demand big money for Delap
The aforementioned report in TEAMtalk makes it clear that Ipswich have no intention of allowing Delap to leave on the cheap.
The newly promoted club see the centre-forward as being pivotal for their hopes of preserving their Premier League status and would only consider letting him go if there is a massive offer on the table.
The publication points out that City have a 20 per cent sell-on clause for Delap, which is only likely to further push up the Tractor Boys’ asking price for the striker.
