La Liga giants Barcelona have been offered up the chance to bring in a member of the attacking ranks at Premier League outfit Chelsea.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/nkunku-extremo-sorpresa-orbita-barca-112872007)**, who point towards Christopher Nkunku as the player in question.
Versatile frontman Nkunku, for his part, is understood to have set his sights on a move away from Stamford Bridge in the near future.
Struggling to establish himself as a starter under Enzo Maresca, the Frenchman is seeking out a new challenge, be it next summer or potentially as soon as January.
And, amid as much, the name of the aforementioned Barcelona have quickly come to the fore.
As per a report from Sport:
‘Nkunku’s name has been offered by his agent, Pini Zahavi, who has good relations with the Blaugrana club, and would be in a position to adjust his salary if necessary.’
Deco and the Barcelona brass, for the time being, have made clear that a January deal is not an option, owing chiefly to the ongoing financial problems at the Camp Nou.
Beyond as much, though, the former RB Leipzig man could become a realistic target in the summer, in the case of other more high-profile targets proving too pricey.
