Over the summer, Paris Saint-Germain explored several options to bolster their attack for the 2024-25 season, with Aston Villa’s Jhon Durán emerging as a potential target.
In October,Eduardo Burgos of Diario AS reported thatboth Bayern Munich and PSG had submitted offers for Durán during the summer transfer window, but Aston Villa rejected them. Manager Unai Emery reportedly views the young forward as a future star.
More recently,Fichajes reported that PSG stillconsider Durán a key long-term investment to strengthen their attack. However, Aston Villaremains hesitant to part with one of their prized assets.
The English club sees immense potential in the 20-year-old and isnot inclined to accept a straightforward swap involving Randal Kolo Muani. PSG may need to include additional financial incentives to advance negotiations, but no agreement hasbeen reached yet.
