Over the past couple of weeks, reports have claimed that Barcelona have reignited their transfer interest in Liverpool winger Luis Diaz for the summer of 2025.
Diaz, 27, was one of the Blaugrana’s targets to reinforce the left flank earlier this year but the move did not go through due to financial issues.
However, of late, it has been suggested that the Colombian international could look to leave Anfield due to contract talks getting stalled and that Barça would be his priority destination in that scenario.

However, now, a report from Florian Plettenberg states that Luis Diaz is not at all considering a departure from Liverpool at this point.
The Colombian international, who was on target twice this past weekend in the win over Tottenham Hotspur, is understood to be happy and comfortable at the Merseyside club.

The winger, who is under contract with the Reds until the summer of 2027, is also said to have a very good relationship with manager Arne Slot.
As such, there are no ongoing talks with any other club at the moment nor are there any plans to leave Liverpool anytime soon.
This development is bound to come as a blow for Barcelona, who rate Diaz highly. In fact, the Catalans’ sporting director Deco sees the 27-year-old as the best fit to strengthen their attacking unit for next season.
Even though a move for the Liverpool ace may be a no-go at this point, Barça have other targets for the position with Nico Williams, Rafael Leao, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia all on the agenda.
Meanwhile, the names of Marcus Rashford and soon-to-be free agent Leroy Sane are also being considered.
