Football Insider reported on Monday, citing sources, that Liverpool are plotting a move to sign Pedro and have been keeping tabs on his progress. Nonetheless, the Reds will need to pay a significant transfer fee.
The report revealed that Brightonare reportedly set to ask for at least double the £30 million they paid Watford in 2023 if they decide to sell him anytime soon.
Any potential move is expected to occur in the summer, given Brighton’s reputation for tough negotiations in the transfer market. Liverpool are showing interest as they look to bolster their attacking options, with Pedro’s versatility across the front line making him a key target.
CaughtOffside recently reported that Liverpool and Arsenal are both preparing offers in the range of €55 million to €65 million for Pedro, with Manchester City also planning a move for the young striker.
The report notes that Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta are among those who believe he could enhance their attacking options.
