Manchester United continue to be linked with potential incomings and some Sporting players have been tipped to follow Ruben Amorim.
This Manchester United squad clearly needs a lot of work.
United lost 3-0 to Bournemouth on Sunday afternoon with Ruben Amorim no doubt frustrated with his side’s struggles.
Amorim has won two of his six Premier League games so far but with three defeats in the last four, United continue to frustrate.
It’s blatantly obvious that, whilst United spent more than £180million on summer signings, Amorim needs more recruits.
United need to back Amorim with new signings in 2025 and it’s no surprise to see some of his former Sporting stars linked.

Manchester United face Chelsea battle for Sporting talent
Ever since United appointed Amorim, Sporting stars have been linked with following the new boss to Old Trafford.
Amorim allegedly wants striker Viktor Gyokeres in 2025 whilst Francisco Trincao is on the United radar after shining under Amorim at Sporting.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Sporting defender Ousmane Diomande fancies joining United too, with Amorim’s knowledge of the Sporting squad potentially leading to transfer pursuits in 2025.
A more surprising name emerged in November as United were linked with Dario Essugo, a talent Amorim loaned from Sporting to Las Palmas this season.
Reports in Spain suggested that that United were chasing Essugo alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid after shining in La Liga.
The Sun now claim that Chelsea are interested in signing Essugo ‘on the cheap’.
The Blues love to stockpile young talent and have seemingly identified Essugo as another prospect they can develop for the future.
Amorim has hailed Essugo as ‘very talented’ and that relationship would surely be vital to any genuine United pursuit in 2025.
Nottingham Forest join Dario Essugo race
Leeds United were linked with Essugo last week but another English club are now joining this ever-growing race.
On The Minute report that Nottingham Forest are now keen on signing Essugo.
Boss Nuno Espirito Santo is Portuguese, just like Amorim, and may well be aware of Essugo’s talent and potential.
Wolverhampton Wanderers recently appointed Vitor Pereira and they are named as being a contender for Essugo too.
The 19-year-old midfielder is clearly attracting major attention and whilst Amorim loaned him out this season, the United boss may see huge potential in Essugo for the future.
