Paris Saint-Germain have beenkeeping a close eye on Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich in recent months, with reports from Germany indicating a potential transfer nearly took place last summer. As the January transfer window nears, new updates on the situation have surfaced.

PSG aren’t alone in their interest.Barcelona are also reportedly targeting Kimmich, along with Bayer Leverkusen’s Jonathan Tah, as they look to strengthen their midfield and defense for the 2025 season.

Kimmich’s future at Bayern has become more uncertain since Vincent Kompany took over as head coach. Once expected to leave when his contract expires next summer, the versatile German—who can play both in midfield and at right-back—now finds himself in a precarious position.

According to TBR Football, Bayern Munich are doing everything they can to avoid losing Kimmich on a free transfer next year.
