“Everything is already guaranteed” – Fabrizio Romano drops Chelsea transfer news update

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has just dropped a Chelsea transfer news update via his YouTube channel last night as we head towards January.

The Blues are unlikely going to be doing any major business in the winter window, but there are a few situations that could bubble up, and then some situations for the summer as well.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea already agree terms for player to sign in the summer!

Romano has previously reported that Chelsea have been looking at new defenders and this is one priority they are looking at.

Enzo Maresca has also dropped some hints that some of his current squad may well be looking to move on next month.

But there is one player who they will be signing in the summer of 2025, and that looks like it is all pretty much guaranteed now.

Jadon Sancho will join permanently from Manchester United after spending the season on loan at Stamford Bridge, and Romano has the full details on that one…

Chelsea will sign Sancho

Everyone happy with Sancho

Speaking on his latest YouTube video, Romano says:

“The final fee [for Jadon Sancho] will be £25 million and everything is already guaranteed, with Chelsea more than happy to pay this money. They believe Sancho is worth way more than this. They’re very happy with the player and really enthusiastic.

“Sancho is playing a lot and he’s very happy with Maresca. And Chelsea are very happy about Sancho’s training sessions and his attitude. He has very good connection with his teammates.”

I think most Chelsea fans will be very happy with this as well. That fee is an absolute bargain for a player who has already made a really good impact. So even if he ends up not working out down the line, they should still be able to spin a decent profit on him if they had to sell.
