2024 end-of-year UEFA rankings

Manchester City's reign as the highest ranking men's club in UEFA's coefficient rankings continued, while Barcelona top the women's rankings after repeating their UEFA Women's Champions League success.

UEFA men's club rankings (five-year coefficient)

Manchester City retained their status as the leading UEFA men's club for a third straight year after reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League in 2024. Real Madrid, who earned Champions League glory having eliminated Pep Guardiola's side en route, scored the most coefficient points in the 2023/24 season.

UEFA women's club rankings (five-year coefficient)

Barcelona took top spot for a second consecutive year in the women's club rankings. The Catalan club beat second-placed Lyon 2-0 in the Women's Champions League final in Bilbao last May to earn their third title in four years. Chelsea, whom they overcame in the semi-finals, climbed from sixth in 2023 to third.

Though Barcelona are leading the club rankings, France retain their status as the premier association. Paris Saint-Germain joined Lyon in the top five for the third time in as many years, after the French rivals met in the Women's Champions League semi-finals in April. England and Spain overtook last year's runners-up Germany to move second and third respectively.
