Predicted Tottenham XI to face Nottingham Forest

Goalkeeper – Fraser Forster: Despite conceding a total of nine goals in his last two games, Ange Postecoglou will have to stick with Forster once more as Vicario is still out for the foreseeable future.

Right-back – Pedro Porro: At right-back, Porro should keep his spot once more as Spurs’ lack of defensive depth means there is little chance of rotation.

Centre-back – Radu Dragusin: With Cristian Romero still injured, we expect Radu Dragusin to continue as the centre-back as he is the only fit one available.

Centre-back – Archie Gray: Ange continues to hint that Davies is not far from returning. However, it has not been confirmed if he is fully fit. Unless there is a shock inclusion in the eleven that sees Davies recover in time for this game, Archie Gray is set to feature alongside Dragusin for the fifth game in a row.

Left-back – Destiny Udogie: After a recent press conference, Posetcoglou explained why Udogie was left on the bench against Liverpool. It appears now that he is fit and if so, then he should return as the left-back.

Pivot midfielder – Rodrigo Bentancur: Rodrigo Bentancur has now completed his seven-match ban and is in contention to feature against Nott’m Forest. We expect the Tottenham boss to throw him in straight away.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Central midfielder – James Maddison: With three goals in his last two Premier League outings, Maddison has been in superb goal-scoring form of late and with Spurs in need of a win, it is unlikely the manager will rest him in this one.

Central-midfielder – Dejan Kulusevski: We expect Ange Postecoglou to try and attack in this one, which means he will want to ditch the Sarr and Bissouma pairing. Thus, Kulusevski should move back into midfield.

Right-midfielder – Brennan Johnson: After a couple of games on the sideline, Johnson should be handed a starting spot in this one against his former side as Spurs will need that extra freshness and energy.

Striker – Dominic Solanke: Solanke added to his brace in midweek by getting a goal and an assist against Liverpool. Therefore, we expect the Englishman to continue as the striker.

Left-midfielder – Heung-min Son: There are no rotation options for Son at the moment since Odobert and Moore are still sidelined. The Tottenham captain will be ready to play his third game in the space of eight days. Hopefully, he can lead his side to another Boxing Day victory.
