Tottenham Hotspur suffered a horrendous defeat against Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend and the gap between both the sides was not only visible but wide and that has led many to question the men at helm in Ange Postecoglou and Daniel Levy.
The Australian head coach has been in charge of the side for a while now, and his presence hasn’t really reaped dividends, with question marks over the playing style that the 59-year-old has deployed.
And then comes Daniel Levy, who has been a brilliant presence in the cubicles of Hotspur Way, earning ample financial deals that have worked in the Lilywhites favour; however, the North Londoners haven’t enjoyed much success on the pitch during his tenure.

Will Daniel Levy get the right player in the January transfer window?
Tottenham supporters did protest against the American businessman during the game, and former Lilywhites scout Bryan King has told his former employer what to change. Speaking in an exclusive interview with [Tottenham News](https://www.tottenhamhotspurnews.com/exclusives/daniel-levy-urged-to-change-tottenham-policy-after-what-happened-v-liverpool/), King said:
> “Spurs looked very ordinary against a very good team in Liverpool. Levy has a wage structure in place at the club; there is a limit on how much players are paid. Based on what I saw against Liverpool, if they want to compete near the top of the league, then that structure needs to change.
>
> “It is entertaining football, but you want to be competing and winning. There was such a gulf between Liverpool and Tottenham, and it shows in the quality of the squads. Therefore, if the club wants to bridge that gap, they need to reconsider the players they’re bringing in.

> “You’ve got to sign those top players if you want to compete.”
King has laid down a clear path forward at White Hart Lane: the team needs quality signings, financial investment, and possibly even a rethink of its long-term strategy, and while questions are raised about Postecoglou’s credentials to succeed in his job at N17, he will need the necessary tools to succeed.
