Bayern Munich have joined the race to sign Chelsea and Liverpool target. The German giants and the Reds are keen to improve their squad due to current situation. The Blues have the star on radar due their newly adapted strategy.
The star in question is English youngster Jamie Gittens. Gittens is 20 years old and currently plays for Borussia Dortmund. He has been the first team player for Dortmund since the 2020/21 season. Last year he played 34 games across all seasons.
Gittens has levelled up this season and is now regular starter for the club. He has played 23 matches this season across all competitions. In those games, he has been able to score 9 times and assist 3 times.
Dortmund are known for selling their top stars for high fee. Gittens can be the latest addition to this list. As of now, the 20 year old has many clubs interested in him from across all over Europe.

Now, journalist Florian Plettenberg has tweeted that Bayern have joined the race for Gittens. The player is aware of the interest but a january move is impossible. Bayern are keen to sign an upgrade on Sane, Coman and Gnabry who are past their prime.
