Manchester City are in action twice this week starting with a meeting with Everton on before travelling to Leicester.

Pep Guardiola’s side welcome the Toffees to the Etihad Stadium on Thursday 26 December, with kick-off scheduled for 12:30 (UK).

It represents the first time we will lock horns with Sean Dyche’s side this season and we’ll be looking to bounce back from our narrow defeat to Aston Villa last time out.

With matches coming thick and fast this festive period, Fantasy Premier League managers will be aiming to maximise their points return over the next few weeks.

Read the Scout’s latest report ahead of Thursday 26 December’s 11:00 (UK) deadline.

CITY STAR: KEVIN DE BRUYNE

Kevin De Bruyne (£9.5m) is just the player kick off the festive season in Gameweek 18 of Fantasy Premier League (FPL).

The Belgian has recorded three attacking returns from his last three starts, and notably hauled a double-digit return in Gameweek 14 when City beat Nottingham Forest.

Despite having made only seven starts this season, he is in the top 10 among midfielders for big chances created and he is top among midfielders for the frequency of chance creation: one every 26 minutes.

This also bodes well for attacking returns from Erling Haaland (£14.8m).

ONE TO WATCH

Jordan Pickford (£4.9m) is Everton’s in form player. No goalkeeper has recorded as many as his seven clean sheets or can match his total FPL points score of 73.

DIFFERENTIALS

Elsewhere, Jarrod Bowen (£7.5m) and Luis Diaz (£7.4m) are low-owned assets who merit attention.

Bowen has returned 20 points in his last three matches and faces a Southampton side who have conceded the most goals in the league.

Meanwhile, Diaz comes into Gameweek 18 on the back of two goals on Sunday and faces Leicester who have conceded 14 goals in their last five matches.
