Participants from the Chelsea Foundation’s Population Health programmes enjoyed a Christmas party at Stamford Bridge.
One-hundred-and-thirty attendees from Chelsea Foundation’s Population Health activities were provided with a Christmas meal by catering partner Levys, as well as a choir performance from Wendell Park Primary School and a Christmas raffle hosted by former Chelsea player Gary Chivers.
Chelsea Foundation’s Population Health programmes are supported by the Premier League and Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) through the Premier League Charitable Fund, and work in partnership with local NHS Trusts to reduce healthcare inequalities across London. Population Health is part of the Foundation’s wider Health and Wellbeing programmes, which aim to improve the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of our communities and supporters through education, activities and shared experience.
This includes the Bridging the Blues programme which assists patients with Stroke, Pulmonary, Cardiac and Cancer rehabilitation as well as Transgender wellbeing, and the adapted sports programme which runs walking football sessions for women aged 40+ and men aged 50+.
