Everton are ready to make Jordan Pickford a unique offer to fend off interest from Barcelona and Chelsea – as well as Bayern Munich.
The England international is currently in a rich vein of form at Goodison Park – keeping five clean sheets in his last six Premier League appearances to move Everton up to 15th.
Two of those clean sheets have come against Arsenal and Chelsea, with the Everton No.1 really stepping up for Sean Dyche as the Friedkin Group take over from Farhad Moshiri and begin a new era.
Dan Friedkin is keen to make some early moves to win over the Goodison Park faithful, with Everton keen to tie Jarrad Branthwaite down to a new contract, although the England international is currently refusing to commit.
The Toffees also want to agree a new deal with Jordan Pickford – and TBR Football‘s Chief Correspondent Graeme Bailey has now shared details about what Everton have planned.
Everton ready to tie Jordan Pickford down for the rest of his career
TBR Football have been told that Everton are now keen to offer the 30-year-old a contract which will keep him at Goodison Park until he retires.
Sources understand Pickford – unlike Branthwaite – could be persuaded to put pen to paper, with Everton keen to offer him a deal running until at least 2030 with the option to extend that even further.

The man from Wearside currently has a contract which expires in June 2027.
Pickford – a £30m signing from Sunderland back in June 2017 – has attracted the interest of Chelsea, Barcelona and Bayern Munich as a result of his excellent performances for Everton.
However, the Toffees are keen to ensure he does not become a realistic signing for any of these clubs, and are confident they can persuade the glovesman to commit himself at Goodison Park for the rest of his career.
What Jordan Pickford said when he signed his last contract in February 2023
You can see why Everton feel optimistic about keeping Pickford, who could have conceded a penalty against Chelsea, for the rest of his career – judging by comments made from the goalkeeper when he signed his most recent contract.
Back in February 2023, he said: “It’s massive to sign this new contract at such a special club for me.
“The support I’ve had from everyone at the club since I joined as a 22-year-old has been so important to my family and me. I’m happy here and so are my family. We love it at Everton.
“This contract will take me to more than ten years at Everton and I want to build a legacy here to put myself up there with the likes of Neville Southall to be one of the best keepers to have played for Everton.”
