It has been a fantastic season on a personal level for Wolves star Matheus Cunha.
Wolves are languishing down in 18th place in the Premier League table having had a very difficult season as a collective.
But Cunha has been the bright spark for Wanderers and on Sunday, he scored his ninth goal of the season across all competitions.
But Wolves fans can now expect him to be banned for a period, after Cunha was charged for misconduct by the FA following his antics against Ipswich Town.
It’ll be a major blow for Wolves to lose Cunha for any amount of time, since he is just that influential.
But it will be especially tough for Wolves to not have Cunha available for away games, because the Brazilian certainly travels well.

After scoring against Leicester City on Sunday, Cunha took his tally to 15 goals away from home in the Premier League since the start of last season.
That is a highly impressive record, and one that only Manchester City striker Erling Haaland can actually better. The Norwegian superstar has scored 18 since the start of 2023/24.

Of course, Haaland is widely regarded as the best striker in the Premier League and for some, he’s the best in the world.
So for Cunha to be rubbing shoulders with him just further emphasises the kind of talent Wolves have on their hands.
Mo Salah also has 15 away goals since the start of 2023/24, and Alexander Isak and Chris Wood complete the top five with 13 each (via Stat Muse).
Cunha is invaluable for Wolves
15 away goals in the Premier League over the last one-and-a-half seasons is some going from Cunha, who finished Sunday’s game with Leicester wearing the captain’s armband.
The fact only Haaland has scored more since the start of 2023/24 clearly demonstrates what a huge player he is for Wolves.
It also indicates that he’s going to be a major miss when his ban comes through from the FA.
Matheus Cunha for Wolves this season
Appearances – 18
Minutes played – 1447
Goals – 9
Assists – 3
Wolves not being able to count on him is a major blow, given how influential he is and how he’s capable of conjuring up moments of magic.
It is now going to place more emphasis on the likes of Jorgen Strand Larsen and Goncalo Guedes, who have thankfully both been in the goals themselves this season.
