Marcus Rashford's Manchester United career looks to be all but over.
Last weekend saw new manager Ruben Amorim leave the 27-year-old out of the United match day squad for the third consecutive Premier League game, which they ended up losing 3-0 to Bournemouth. The Cherries dismantled United at Old Trafford for the second season in a row and the day was eventually summed up by Amorim's post-match interview being interrupted by a leaking ceiling in the press room.
With the January transfer window set to open in just a matter of days, United will be proactively looking to move Rashford on, a decision which they hope will allow for them to be able to spend some money in next month to help improve the squad at Amorim's disposal and arrest the decline that has seen them slumped 13th in the table.
But bizarrely, despite the likelihood of his United career being over, Rashford features on the front of their 2025 calendar, and is the player featured for the month of January.
A source told the Sun: "Rashford's future at the club remains uncertain", adding: "He may not be here after the transfer window opens in just over a week's time. At least he's the face of January - it's likely he won't be around much longer."

However, with Rashford on a reported whopping £350,000-per-week, it seems unlikely any club could or would want to take that on in full in January. Following his 30-goal 2022/23 season, the 27-year-old inked a new long-term contract through to 2028, a decision which has, since he signed it, looked like an appallingly bad deal for United.
Unless they are willing to take on a significant portion of his salary to get him to leave Old Trafford, it seems unthinkable any club would help United out of their Rashford predicament.

Rashford himself is keen on leaving the club he has spent his entire professional career at. On the weekend he was left out of the United squad for their miraculous derby day triumph over Manchester City, he gave an interview outlining how he believed he was ready for "a new challenge".

Speaking to Henry Winter, Rashford said: "For me, personally, I think I'm ready for a new challenge and the next steps...When I leave it's going to be 'no hard feelings'. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
"If I know that a situation is already bad I'm not going to make it worse. I've seen how other players have left in the past and I don't want to be that person. When I leave I'll make a statement and it will be from me."
