Manchester United are “preparing” an offer for AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez, according to MilanLive.it.
The Italian website claims that the fullback could be let go during the January transfer window as the player has reached the final 18 months of his contract.
With no agreement over a new deal, the Rossoneri may be willing to listen to offers for Hernandez and United fans on X believe he could be an excellent signing:

If he’s willing to run like a dog, in Amorim’s words and is willing to work hard from Day 1 bring him in. We need a complete squad overhaul.#MUFC

Hernandez is an ideal fit for Amorim’s system
Although the France international has spent most of his career as a left-back in a four-man defence, he is very attack-minded.
There is no doubt that Hernandez would slot in comfortably at wingback in United’s 3-4-3 formation. He would be a huge upgrade on the likes of Diogo Dalot and Tyrell Malacia who have played in that role since the arrival of head coach Ruben Amorim.
United will have competition for the player
With Hernandez seemingly available, the Red Devils are unlikely to be the only team pursuing his signature. Reports in recent days have also linked the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City with the defender.
It is believed that a fee of around €50m (£41.5m) would be required to prise the 27-year-old away from the San Siro.
