Nottingham Forest and Himmah are proud to announce that, as part of our 'Home For Christmas' campaign, the Forest Family has collectively raised a remarkable total of 4,259kg of essential items this Christmas through our food and multibank collection.

This initiative, led by Evangelos Marinakis, reflects the owner’s deep commitment to supporting the local community, particularly during the festive season.

With Nottingham facing the highest levels of child poverty in the UK, many families are forced to forgo essential non-food items such as toothpaste, shower gel, washing up liquid, and sanitary products. Understanding the profound impact of these needs, the club extended its collection to include these vital items, offering not just food, but also hope and dignity to those in need.

The collection began on Saturday 14th December, coinciding with the team's fixture against Aston Villa, where supporters raised an impressive 1003kg of donations. The campaign continued throughout the following week, with fans showing immense generosity, resulting in hundreds of additional donations.

When the Forest Family comes together, magical things happen – and this campaign was no exception. Thanks to the overwhelming support of the fans, over 4 tonnes of food and non-food essentials will be distributed through Himmah’s vital work, providing relief to individuals and families struggling to make ends meet during the holiday season.

In a further act of generosity, Evangelos Marinakis has pledged to double the total donations, bringing the grand total to more than 8.5 tonnes of essential items. Nottingham Forest will work closely with Himmah to ensure that the most needed items are identified and distributed, ensuring a lasting impact well into the New Year.

The club wishes to express its heartfelt gratitude to every member of the Forest Family who contributed to this extraordinary effort, making a profound difference in our city this Christmas.
