Arsenal have made contact with agent of Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Carvalho. The player already has interest from Saudi clubs. Gunners are keen to bring him to England next year.
Gabriel Carvalho is 17 years old player who plays for Internacional. He has been able to break into the first team this season. He plays as a centre midfielder but can adapt and play as a right winger if needed.
Carvalho has played 24 league games this season. He has started in 15 of them and has been able to record 1 goal and 3 assists. He helped his club to finish on 5th position and secure the place in Copa Libertadores qualification round.
Carvalho has interest from Saudi clubs ahead of next transfer window. They Asian clubs are keen to pay €22 million in order to secure the Brazilian talent. They are also willing to offer 20% sell on clause with the Brazilian club.

According to Juliano Machado, Gunners have already contacted Carvalho’s agent. The North London club are ready to match the offer of Saudi clubs. They are prepared to spend €22 million along with offering 20% sell on clause.

Carvalho can be a good addition to Arsenal side. He will be able to move to England once he turns 18 in August 2025. This means he will be able to play full 2025/26 season in Arsenal jersey.
Firstly, Gunners will have openings in midfield area. Thomas Partey and Jorginho are set to leave as free agents after this season. Carvalho can be viewed as a long term investment in midfield area. In addition, he can be a much needed backup for Bukayo Saka.
Lastly, many Brazilian players have been able to make it big at Arsenal. Currently, there are three Gabriels (Magalhaes, Jesus, Martinelli) from Brazil in the Arsenal first team. They can convince another Gabriel (Carvalho) to join them next season.
