Defender Joseph Wheeler-Henry has signed his first professional contract with Chelsea.
Wheeler-Henry is an attacking right-back who joined Chelsea during his Under-13s season after a spell at Hendon.
During the 2023/24 season, he was part of our winning side in the Under-17 Premier League Cup, contributing to a 3-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the final at Molineux.
As he navigates his first full season at Under-18s level, Wheeler-Henry has established himself in [Hassan Sulaiman](/en/teams/profile/hassan-sulaiman)’s squad and featured across our 2024/25 Under-17 and Under-18 Premier League Cup campaigns, as well as league fixtures.
He also came on as a substitute in Chelsea's first FA Youth Cup fixture of the season, helping secure a 3-2 victory over Leicester City.
