Nottingham Forest's City Ground has played host to a gender-reveal party for one of its star players who says he is "eagerly waiting" the arrival of his child. Murillo staged the event with friends and family over the weekend and was stood on a platform covered in white balloons and baby-themed decorations.
Pink smoke and confetti were then seen bursting onto the platform to reveal that Murillo's first child with wife Mabili Coladello would be a baby girl. The centre-back posted on Instagram on Monday (December 23): "We are eagerly waiting for your arrival, my princess."
The 22-year-old first signed for the Reds in August 2023 on a five-year contract. The Brazilian has gone on to appear in scores of fixtures and was named as Forest's player of the season for 2023/24.

Murillo and his wife were both dressed completely in white for their gender reveal party, with the pair seen walking onto the City Ground pitch through the players' tunnel at the start of the event. The footballer was then pictured kissing his wife's baby bump as the event moved inside the stadium.
Among those attending the event was Forest teammate Jota Silva. The party caps of a year of success for Murillo, who received his first call-up to the Brazilian national team during November's international break.
