Report: Arsenal likely to be offered PSG forward in January

**Arsenal could be offered the chance to sign Randal Kolo Muani in January, according to** [**a report**](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-fc-transfer-news-kolo-muani-saka-b1201688.html) **by Simon Collings for the Evening Standard.**

Kolo Muani joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2023 after an impressive campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt along with being part of France's squad for the 2022 World Cup, in which they were runners-up.

Despite being regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in Europe, the forward has not kicked on since the departure of Kylian Mbappe and has not been overly impressive during his time in the French capital.

While the Gunners have plenty of attacking talent at their disposal, recent circumstances may force them to dip into the transfer market in January with Kolo Muani being a potentially viable option for Mikel Arteta.

According to [the Evening Standard](https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/arsenal-fc-transfer-news-kolo-muani-saka-b1201688.html), Arsenal may be presented with the opportunity to sign Kolo Muani in the January transfer window.

The Gunners are currently undecided whether to make moves in the transfer market amid a double injury blow that has seen both Bukayo Saka and Raheem Sterling succumb to setbacks. The absence of Saka due to a torn hamstring is, of course, a bitter blow and one that could crucify Arsenal's season.

Mikel Arteta was not expected to make a move for a winger in January but confirmed the club are open to something "if something has to happen" but insists on relying on those within the squad.

The Spaniard named the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri as being among the players who could step up in the absence of Saka.

Having made just two starts in Ligue 1 and the Champions League, Kolo Muani has not impressed for PSG this season despite being expected to have a more prominent role with this summer's departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid.

With the French champions potentially looking to offload him in the January window, Arsenal are one of the many clubs likely to be offered the chance to sign Kolo Muani on loan. However, it is uncertain if the Gunners will be interested in signing the French international.
