Nottingham Forest are going to leave no stone unturned in their quest to land new players during the January transfer window.
The Reds did strong business in the summer and did work that suggested the recruitment parameters have shifted on Trentside.
Forest didn’t go for old players looking for one last payday and instead prioritised players who have significant potential and resale value.
Now, with January just days away, it would appear as though Forest are going to up the ante in order to try and maintain their lofty league position.

Nottingham Forest want AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori
According to On the Minute, Forest are going to join a glut of clubs in the race to sign the AC Milan star during the January transfer window.
Leicester and Aston Villa are the clubs also keen to sign him, whilst West Ham are also in the mix along with Newcastle.
Tomori has been with Milan for a number of years and has established himself as a regular in the team with the San Siro giants.
He has made 157 appearances for the Milanese giants since moving from Chelsea where he played 27 times.

During his time at Stamford Bridge he came through the youth ranks with Ola Aina and made first-team appearances alongside Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Tomori is a top-quality central defender with Champions League experience to his name and Paolo Maldini raved about him when he signed for Milan.
Tomori could be stellar signing for Forest
Although the player won’t be going anywhere for less than £27 million, Tomori could prove a very useful addition to the ranks.
He’s the same age as Nikola Milenkovic and there is just no saying how long Forest will be able to keep hold of Murillo alongside him.
Morato has only just signed for the club but Willy Boly will almost certainly leave next summer and Andrew Omobamidele will likely leave in January.
With that in mind, signing a central defender perhaps isn’t the craziest link to emerge with Forest and Tomori can clearly play.
The central defender has a lot left to offer and if the price is right, it’s exactly that sort of signing that could help take Fores to the next level in the future.
