Axel Disasi hasn’t been a regular for Chelsea this season under Enzo Maresca.
The Frenchman has played every UEFA Conference League group stage game and has also captained the side in the competition, but the centre-back has played only four times in the Premier League so far.
Due to his lack of game time, it was suggested that Juventus had emerged as an interested party.
IlBianconeri have reported on the Old Lady’s liking for the 26-year-old defender, revealing that Juventus have indeed asked for information from Chelsea about signing Disasi.
Despite the liking for the player, no encouragement is handed to them by the report.
The outlet claim that Maresca is very clear about Disasi’s future and doesn’t want to let him go, due to the injuries suffered by Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana. The Blues boss wants depth in the backline and believes that Disasi can offer that.
As a result, Juve will not sign the ex-Monaco player but the report suggests that the attempt to seek information for him shows that they want a new centre-back in January.
