Arsenal are reportedly set to be offered the chance to sign a PSG forward on loan to serve as cover for Bukayo Saka.

Just 24 minutes into the Gunners' clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday has to be replaced and later left Selhurst Park on crutches.

Mikel Arteta later confirmed that Saka would be absent for 'many weeks' with a hamstring injury, with concerns from inside the club that the England star could be out until early March.

The news comes as a significant blow to Arsenal's title hopes, with the club having already seen captain Martin Odegaard miss multiple games through injury earlier in the campaign.

With Saka set for an extended spell on the sidelines, speculation has fixated on whether Arteta will look to bolster his options when the transfer window opens next month.

According to a report from The Standard, Arsenal are one of several clubs that will be offered the chance to sign PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani on loan for the remainder of the season.

France international Muani has recently found himself on the fringes of Luis Enrique's plans at the Parc des Princes

Kolo Muani was seen as a marquee arrival when PSG paid £64million plus add-ons to sign him from Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023.

However, the France international endured a disappointing maiden campaign at the Parc des Princes, scoring just 9 goals in 40 games in all competitions.

This season Kolo Muani's stock has dropped even further, with PSG boss Luis Enrique limiting the 26-year-old to just two league starts so far this season.

Asked about Muani's future at PSG earlier this month Enrique insisted: 'I could speak about it but I won’t because my decisions say it all, even if as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed.’

Muani has three-and-a-half years left on his contract with Les Parisiens, with the deal reportedly worth upwards of £200,000-per-week.
