La Liga outfit Real Betis are actively working on a deal to bring in Arthur Melo from Juventus next month.
That’s according to Juve transfer insider Mirko Di Natale, who has on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest ongoings behind the scenes at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
The Real Betis brass are widely understood to be on the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
As much comes amid an ongoing injury crisis in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad.
Amid their search, one name which has long emerged front and centre at Betis is that of the aforementioned Arthur Melo, who of course boasts previous experience in La Liga with Barcelona.
The Brazilian finds himself heavily out-of-favour at Juventus at present, not in the plans of new boss Thiago Motta.
A loan move could therefore be on the cards for Arthur in January, with the board at the Benito Villamarín, according to Mirko Di Natale, actively working on a deal with Juventus.
