Arsenal have been linked with several head-turning transfer moves in January.
Heading towards the back end of a busy festive fixture period, Arsenal attentions begin to turn towards January as the transfer window rolls open once more.
The Gunners did invest in the squad over the summer with Mikel Merino, David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori all coming for fees but there was no big money move for a new striker despite widespread rumours. That has left Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus leading the line but there is still a sense that Mikel Arteta could do with a prolific striker to make title dreams a reality.
Arsenal XI if January transfer rumours come true
GK - David Raya, £33m
The shot-stopper made his loan from Brentford permanent this summer. Arsenal paid £27 million to make that happen after the Spaniard ousted Aaron Ramsdale from the starting spot last season.

Arrived at the Emirates Stadium from Bologna for £42 million this summer but has had a stuttering start to life in North London with injuries hampering his progress this term. The 22-year-old will hope for a less disrupted end to the campaign.
CB - William Saliba, £66m
A constant in the side and impressive performer at the heart of defence. Has now made more than 100 appearances for the Gunners after early loan spells at Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille.
CB - Gabriel, £62m
The commanding centre-back offers just as much going forwards as he does defensively and is often the target of Arsenal's famous dangerous set plays.
CM - Declan Rice, £91m
The £100 million man continues to progress under Arteta at Arsenal. The England international is the heartbeat of the Gunners midfield, turning defence into attack.
CM - Lucien Agoume, £5m
Arsenal invested in the midfield this summer with £32 million being splurged on Euro 2024 winner Mikel Merino. The Spaniard hasn't quite look settled in the Premier League and Football Transfers report that the Gunners are battling Barcelona for Sevilla man Lucien Agoume. The 22-year-old is thought to be keen on a move to the Premier League, which could play in Arsenal's favour.
LW - Marcus Rashford, £46m

Mikel Arteta refused to comment on transfer links with Marcus Rashford last week after the player hinted that he was ready to leave Old Trafford for a 'new challenge'. The Red Devils man said: ‘When I leave it’s going to be, “no hard feelings”. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.
"If I know that a situation is already bad I’m not going to make it worse. I’ve seen how other players have left in the past and I don’t want to be that person. When I leave I’ll make a statement and it will be from me."
ST - Viktor Gyokeres, £62m
Sporting CP talisman Gyokeres has been linked with several top Premier League sides over the past 12 months thanks to his impressive form in Portugal. Football Transfers last week reported that Arsenal were 'in negotiations' over a transfer for the star, who has 27 goals in all competitions already this term.
RW - Bukayo Saka, £124m
The Arsenal starboy continues to go from strength to strength at the Emirates. Saka is still just 23 years old but very much the danger man in the Gunners side. He's now made 250 appearances for the club.
