It could be a busy January of transfer action for Spurs, if Postecoglou gets his way.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has hinted at January transfer action already this season with his side struggling with injuries at times, and now the opening of the window is just days away.

Spurs have been linked with several well known names on the continent and closer to home. Postecoglou has already admitted to having a 'number of meetings' with technical director Johan Lange ahead of January.

He explained: "A lot of it will depend on where we are as a squad at that time. Between now and then, it is only really Romero and Van de Ven who will be back in that time frame, but Richarlison will hopefully be back in the New Year and we will just assess where we are squad wise.

"I think last year we did a little bit of business [Radu Dragusin and Timo Werner] which ended up helping us, but nothing concrete now because January is always tricky."

LondonWorld looks at how Spurs could line up at the end of next month should current transfer rumours come true, with market values as per Transfermarkt.

LB - Destiny Udogie, £37m

A regular under Postecoglou, the full-back has nailed down that left back role since arriving from Udinese for £15 million in 2022.

CB - Micky Van de Ven, £46m

His latest injury setback is 'not a significant injury' according to Postecoglou and he is expected to return in the New Year. It's been a tricky season so far for 23-year-old with his injury problems.

CB - Cristian Romero, £54m

The other half of the first choice centre-back pairing. The World Cup winner is also currently injured but expected to be back in the New Year.

RB - Pedro Porro, £37m

Does face some competition for his starting berth from Djed Spence but few full-backs in the league offer the attacking creativity that Porro does.

CM - Julian Brandt, £29m

Football Transfers report that the Borussia Dortmund man is being 'monitored' by Tottenham Hotspur ahead of January. The 28-year-old is known for his versatility and can be deployed across midfield, as well as further forward.

CM - Yves Bissouma, £29m

In and out of the starting XI in the league this season and has missed a couple of games through suspension and injury, but is a robust presence in the centre of the park for Spurs.

LW - Son Heung-Min, £32m

The South Korean international hasn't been at his prolific best this season but always possesses the magic to change a game. The captain has had his injury worries as well this term, missing out against Manchester United, Brighton and Crystal Palace.

CAM - Omar Marmoush, £50m

Spurs were named alongside Manchester United, Barcelona and PSG as clubs who were scouting 25-year-old Egypt international Omar Marmoush by The Mirror. The Eintracht Frankfurt forward has already plundered 30 combined goals and assists this term.

RW - Dejan Kulusevski, £50m

Enjoying an impressive season, turning heads with his ability to fill new positions. Kulusevski has just surpassed 120 appearances for the club.

ST - Dominic Solanke, £37m

A head-turning piece of summer business when Tottenham swooped to recruit Solanke from Premier League rivals AFC Bournemouth for £55 million. It's perhaps still too early to label him as Harry Kane's successor, but the former Cherries man has been among the goals.
