The Portuguese head coach recalled his compatriot for the win over Leicester, in which Guedes scored the opening goal and assisted the third in an impressive performance.
Guedes has had a difficult spell at Wolves since signing in 2022 and has been unhappy at the club, having struggled to adapt to life in England.
He has previously left on three separate loan spells but this season has returned notable numbers when selected.
Pereira was pleased with Guedes' display at Leicester but has urged for more work off the ball from his attacking talents.
"I can give him confidence for sure," the head coach said of Guedes.
"I can increase the tactical skills and he needs to know that to play with me, he must run and he must fight.
