Milos Kerkez has been linked with a move to both Liverpool and Manchester United.
The Bournemouth defender has made a tremendous name for himself in the Premier League. His performances in the English top flight have been outstanding.
Manchester United are in desperate need of a new left-wing-back, while Liverpool are also expected to be on the market to strengthen their left-full-back position.
Fabrizio Romano has now shared an update on Kerkez.

Kerkez has been linked with several clubs ahead of the January transfer window.
The Hungarian has played 50 times for Bournemouth since joining them from AZ Alkmaar in 2023. He has been brilliant for the Cherries.
Reports have claimed that Liverpool have regularly scouted Kerkez, while their Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested in Kerkez.
TBR Football also revealed that both Liverpool and Manchester City scouted Kerkez in the game between Wolves and Bournemouth in November.
Now, Romano has revealed what he has heard about the situation, and the journalist has claimed that Manchester United are monitoring the defender much more than their fierce English rivals.
He said on the Men in Blazers podcast: “For Milos Kerkez, I think keep an eye on Manchester United, because Man United are also looking at that position.
“Man United, I’m told, are more concrete than Liverpool in this monitoring activity for Milos Kerkez.”
Kerkez signed a five-year contract at Bournemouth when he joined them in 2023. That puts the Cherries in a strong position in potential transfer negotiations.
How much will Kerkez cost Manchester United in January?
The January transfer window is never an ideal time to do business.
Players are rarely available for their market price in the middle of the season, and big moves only happen when the buying club is desperate.
Bournemouth know just how important a new left-wing-back is for Manchester United next month. So, they will not make it easy for the Red Devils if they want to sign the Cherries defender.
Reports have revealed that Manchester United and Liverpool will have to pay at least £40 million for Kerkez in January.
That’s over twice as much as what Bournemouth paid for him just 18 months ago, which was £15.5 million to AZ Alkmaar.
