A festive thought-provoker with a twist - what would your one Newcastle United wish be for 2025?
Christmas is the time of the supernatural, where billions around the world celebrate Jesus Christ, a man who, according to the New Testament, could turn water into wine, cure the blind and resurrect himself from the dead.
So how, in any way possible, could this be twisted with a modern-day Newcastle United spin? With Toon supporters across the globe opening presents, spending quality family time and tucking into their pigs and blankets, they were asked one question: what is your Christmas wish for 2025?
Imagine stumbling across a magical lamp over the festive period when a genie appears, promising to grant just one - no need to be greedy - desire for the new year. A new stadium? The dream, big-money signing in January? Better pints inside of St James’ Park?

The prospect of Anthony Gordon, Alexander Isak and Beardsley in a three-pronged attack certainly gets the juices flowing. However, some opted for a more cunning approach.
Thinking outside of the box, it is hard not to argue with this answer that seemed to stump the original question. The supporter wrote: “Newcastle to go on a 500 game winning run, I'm not greedy, I could have said 600. If I'm still alive after that, I'm happy to give other clubs a chance.”
