Morning all.
Christmas Day is here and to start the day off, my puppy has just thrown up all her breakfast. Now she’s running around the house with nose in the air. She can smell her presents which thankfully, don’t include food!
My day is about going to see my 90 year old mum in her care home this morning. Santa will be making an appearance, there will be carols sung along with many other Christmas jingles throughout the day. The residents there are well looked after and the lunchtime menu is wicked if a traditional Christmas meal is your thing. It’s not mine anymore. I’ll be sitting down later to feast on an array of Indian dishes.
I think about absent loved ones and friends often throughout the year but especially at Christmas, just as I think of those who’ve been left behind. Christmas without a loved one is hard.
For those of you who are fortunate enough to be surrounded by loved ones today, not forgetting our four legged furry ones of course, I hope you have you have a wonderful day.
Merry Christmas guys….. 🥂🥂
