Marc Casadó highlights the one defining attribute of Barcelona coach Hansi Flick

One can argue that the Christmas break has come at an opportune time for FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick. The Blaugranes have been able to win only 1 of their last 7 games in La Liga and capped off their year with a defeat against Atletico Madrid.

This loss cost the Catalan side their top spot on the La Liga table, and Barcelona currently stands third in the rankings, behind both Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid.

But despite this loss and the overall poor form, there is still no doubt that Hansi Flick has brought a lot of improvement to this Blaugrana side, and this improvement is clearly visible in the performances on the pitch.

The German tactician has instilled a highly effective and entertaining style of play in his team, and his work ethic and management style have also been highly commendable.

One aspect of this work ethic was also recognized by one Barcelona player who has arguably benefitted the most from Flick’s arrival at the club, Marc Casadó.

The young midfielder appeared in an interview with Mundo Deportivo, in which he engaged in a rapid-fire test. One of the tasks he was given in this interview was to define Flick in one word, to which he replied: “**Hard work.**”

There could have been several words to describe the Barcelona coach, but there is no doubt that Casadó’s definition does full justice to Flick.

The German tactician has been working tirelessly since his arrival at the club, and he is not only involved in managing the first team, but he also keeps a good eye on the youth teams to gain a good idea of the talent in the pipeline, while also providing his input and opinion when the club is looking for its targets in the market.

With his commitment and work ethic, one has all the reasons to hope that he will be able to get Barcelona out of their recent poor form once they get back into action.
