Everton actually have a surprisingly high wage bill, with some big earners at the club.
That’s certainly not been reflected by the performances this season, as Sean Dyche’s men look set to be involved in a relegation fight.
Although Everton have seemingly turned a corner in recent weeks as they’ve returned to their rock-solid best at the back.
The Toffees have kept five clean sheets in their last six games and just need to find quality at the top end of the pitch to start winning.
Anyhow, with all that said, we’ve decided to look into who the 10 highest earners are at the club, to see if they’re really pulling their weight and repaying their worth.

10 – Beto
Following his £30m switch from Udinese in 2023, Beto was always going to be among one of the highest earners at Goodison Park.
The towering centre-forward takes home around £50,000-a-week.

9 – Seamus Coleman
Seamus Coleman is Everton and the Premier League’s longest-serving player having plied his trade at the club for just shy of 16 years.
Coleman, who captains The Toffees, earns £55,000-a-week.
8 – Vitaliy Mykolenko
Everton outlaid £17.9m on the signature of Vitaliy Mykolenko and so far during his career on Merseyside, he’s struggled to live up to the price tag.
Mykolenko has certainly enjoyed some productive spells but considering he’s the eighth-highest earner on around £58,000-a-week, he should be performing at a higher level.
7 – Michael Keane
Michael Keane joins the list in seventh, collecting a whopping £80,000-a-week.
Everton fans have long criticised Keane for his error-ridden performances and it looks as though he’ll be departing at the end of the season, with his contract due to expire in June.
That’ll free up around £4.1m-a-year on his salary alone.
6 – Idrissa Gueye
Idrissa Gueye has enjoyed two successful stints at Everton and when he returned from Paris Saint-Germain, the club put him on substantial wages.
Like Keane, the veteran midfielder collects £80,000-a-week and is set to become a free agent next summer.
5 – Jack Harrison
Perhaps rather sparingly, Jack Harrison is Everton’s fifth highest earner, taking home a handsome £90,000-per-week.That equates to an eye-watering £4.6m annual salary.
Everton fans have been highly critical of Harrison this season so it’d be surprising if his loan move from Leeds United was made permanent.
4 – James Tarkowski
Everton landed James Tarkowski’s signature on a free transfer in 2022, so naturally he was awarded with a colossal weekly wage, standing at approximately £100,00-per-week.
Tarkowski has been a consistent performer for Sean Dyche and formed a rock-solid partnership with Jarrad Branthwaite last season.
3 – Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Everton fans have urged Dyche to bench Dominic Calvert-Lewin for much of the season as he looks completely bereft of confidence in front of goal.
The £100k-a-week striker, who is out of contract next summer, has perhaps run his race at Goodison Park.
Arsenal are showing an interest in Calvert-Lewin ahead of January.
2 – Jordan Pickford
Joining the list in second is England’s number one Jordan Pickford, who earns a collosol £125,000 every week.
Pickford is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League and is worth every penny to Everton.
1 – Abdoulaye Doucoure
Perhaps a little surprising, but Abdoulaye Doucoure is Everton’s biggest earner at around £130,000-a-week.
Doucoure was a big-money signing from Watford during the Carlo Ancelotti era and has been a fixture of the Everton midfield ever since.
