Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in a wide forward in the upcoming 2025 transfer intervals, with the North Londoners looking to add more dynamism and depth to the roster at Ange Postecoglou’s disposal, and the Lilywhites have been looking at a possible move for Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.
The 24-year-old has taken over the limelight at Vitality Stadium after Dominic Solanke’s departure, and he has been impressive for the Cherries this season, with his latest highlight performance coming in Bournemouth’s 3-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford at the weekend, where his second-half goal took Semenyo’s Premier League goal-scoring tally to five alongside one assist from 16 games this season.
And multiple clubs from the English top tier, including Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Liverpool, are looking to secure his signature alongside Tottenham.

Tottenham are looking to sign Antoine Semenyo.
While Daniel Levy ponders whether to move for the 24-year-old, Newcastle United have started the process to possibly try and land him in the upcoming winter transfer window. Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown insists that the Magpies are keen on securing a new right winger in January, and they are keeping a close eye on Semenyo’s development.
Speaking to Football Insider, Brown said:
“He’s definitely on their list of targets. Semenyo has surprised me with how well he’s done so far this season for Bournemouth. Newcastle are one of the teams who have been watching him with a potential move in mind.
“But from what I’ve heard, I think it’s unlikely they’ll make a move in January because they’re still weighing up whether he would be the right fit for them. I think he’s found his place at Bournemouth with his role in the team, while there are no massive stars and no great pressure on the players.
“That’s an environment that suits him down to the ground, and he suits them too. So then you’ve got to be careful that you don’t get too big for your boots and make the move when you’re not ready, because playing for Newcastle comes with higher expectations.
“If I were advising him, I’d say he should stay at Bournemouth to continue to develop as a player.“
With increasing competition from Premier League rivals, Daniel Levy and Tottenham will have to hurry with the next steps to potentially try to sign Semenyo. The Lilywhites can leverage their relationship with the Cherries from their Dominic Solanke transfer last summer in a bid to land the 24-year-old.
