Bukayo Saka will miss around two months of action for Arsenal through injury, and West Ham star Mohammed Kudus could be brought to The Emirates to cover for the winger.
Arsenal will be without Bukayo Saka for around eight weeks – it was the news that all Gunners fans dreaded, but now West Ham could be seriously affected as well.
That’s because Mohammed Kudus is a firm transfer target for Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta.
The 24-year-old West Ham forward has an £85 million release clause, but that doesn’t come into effect until July.
So if Arsenal want to sign the Ghana international in the January transfer window, they had better be prepared to spend some serious cash.

Kudus actually hasn’t been in great form for us this season, but we all know just how good he is.
The former Ajax man is more than capable of playing at the very highest level. But how much will Arsenal need to pay in order to prise him away from the London Stadium this winter?
After Bukayo Saka injury, Arsenal told how much to pay for Kudus
If Arteta wants his side to sustain a Premier League title challenge, and to compete in the Champions League, he will need to make a big splash in the January window.

It doesn’t surprise me one little bit that Kudus is on the Gunners’ radar.
However, he certainly won’t come cheap.
According to a report from GiveMeSport, West Ham will not sell Kudus for anything less than £100 million in January.

So it remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be prepared to pay that kind of money for the Ghana international, or just wait until the summer when they’ll be able to pick him up for £15 million cheaper.
On his day, Mohammed Kudus is unplayable, and he definitely has what it takes to help Arsenal navigate the next two or three months successfully after the Bukayo Saka injury blow.
Obviously I’m hoping that West Ham manage to keep hold of the enigmatic Kudus until at least the end of this season.
However, I have a feeling that Saka’s hamstring problem may force the Gunners into action in January.
