Liverpool will be enjoying Christmas sitting at the top of the Premier League table. The Reds claimed a 6-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend to extend their lead at the top of the league standings.
Arne Slot's side are four points clear of Chelsea with a game in hand and also have a six-point advantage over Arsenal. Liverpool still have 22 top-flight fixtures left to play this term, starting with a home clash against Leicester City on Boxing Day.
The weekend saw two of Liverpool's title rivals drop points, with Chelsea being held to a goalless draw with Everton. Manchester City were also beaten by Aston Villa, meaning the Reds now have a 12-point lead with a game in hand over the reigning league champions.
