Cole Palmer has revealed the three celebrities he would most like to share Christmas dinner with.

The Chelsea star has plenty to toast this festive season, having cemented his place as Stamford Bridge's leading light and earned himself a Ballon d'Or nomination this year.

It remains to be seen if 'chippy chips' will be part of his Christmas palate but he may well make time under the mistletoe with influencer girlfriend Connie Grace after the pair made their red carpet debut together last month.

Palmer was asked which three stars he would like to tuck into a Christmas meal, whether dead or alive, and didn't hesitate to give his selection.

He opted for Lionel Messi, Jamaican rapper Vybz Kartel, and Michael Jordan.

And he was more than happy to justify selecting Messi as the 'best footballer ever' in a snub to the Argentinian's long-standing rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Vybz Kartel, a Jamaican dancehall recording artist, was next up on Palmer's dream list

His third and final dream guest was six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan

There is no explanation for Jordan, who won the NBA six times with the Chicago Bulls, but basketball is a popular sport to follow among Premier League stars.

Meanwhile, Vybz Kartel - real name Adidja Azim Palmer - is a Jamaican dancehall singer who has a history with the England international.

A clip went viral of him singing Kartel's reggae song 'Clarks'. Last year Palmer revealed that his sister had encouraged him to feature in the video, which includes his boots displaying the St. Kitts flag in homage to his West Indies roots.

'Me and my sister was in the house one day and there was a TikTok trend going around, people were singing songs and stuff,' Palmer said.

‘My sister said “Come and sing this song”, so I was like “Alright sweet will do”.

‘Because on my boots it has the St. Kitts flag and the England flag, my sister wanted to make sure the St. Kitts flag got in.

‘She posted it and it stayed quiet for a while to be fair and then one day I saw it everywhere and now I can’t stop seeing it.’

Palmer previously revealed he has the St Kitts flag on his boots as a tribute to his dad Jermaine and his family, who are from the Caribbean nation.

He was also asked what his favourite part of a Christmas dinner is and, despite being warned that he would be 'judged' on his answer, kept his cool.

'Pigs in blankets,' came his composed response, and that was enough to win him approval.
