I rejected Spurs before £64m move – I could join Arsenal in January

Arsenal target Randal Kolo Muani was claimed to have previously turned down a move to their north London rivals Tottenham.

The French striker, 26, has been transfer listed by PSG ahead of the January window. He's struggled to rediscover the form which saw them pay an initial €75million (£64m) fee plus €15m (£12.2m) in add-ons to secure his services in 2023.

Kolo Muani had enjoyed a fruitful 2022/23 season in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 23 goals and registering 17 assists in all competitions. But since returning to his home country, he's made just 18 goal contributions.

Tottenham were heavily linked with him prior to that as they hunted for a Harry Kane replacement. But reports at the time claimed he turned them down as they failed to turn their interest into an offer quickly enough.

Now he could be on the move again, having fallen out of favour under boss Luis Enrique. He's even been dropped from the matchday squad in recent weeks.

“I could speak about it, but I won’t because my decisions say it all. Even if, as I have said, all of my decisions can be changed," Enrique said when asked by reporters about the situation last week.

Kolo Muani is believed to be on the radar of several Premier League clubs, which is unsurprising given how much top-level strikers are at a premium in the modern game. TBR Football claim the Gunners are considering a move to sign a new centre forward next month.

Manchester United, who could be losing wantaway winger Marcus Rashford, could also be an interested party. It's suggested a loan with an obligation to buy next summer is the most likely transfer option.

Mikel Arteta has been left to rue the club's decision not to address their need for an out-and-out striker in the summer. His side have had a particular lack of firepower of late, leaving them trailing behind in the title race.
