Leicester City will travel to Anfield for a meeting with Arne Slot’s Liverpool on December 26th.
It has been an eventful 2024 for Leicester City both on and off the field.
The Foxes secured a return to the Premier League under Enzo Maresca before he then opted to leave the King Power Stadium for Chelsea.
Steve Cooper was then brought in over the summer to replace the Italian but it’s fair to say, that didn’t work out.
Cooper was sacked by Leicester after just 14 games in charge, with Ruud van Nistelrooy his replacement.
Van Nistelrooy kicked off his stint at Leicester manager in style, thumping West Ham United 3-1.
However, the Dutchman must now contend with a tough run of fixtures, which begins against Liverpool on December 26th.

Leicester City must overcome insanse Liverpool Boxing Day record
Liverpool are firmly in the title picture as we head toward the halfway point of the 2024/25 campaign.
MORE LEICESTER STORIES
Arne Slot has the Reds playing some top football and they were already expected to prove a serious test for Leicester.
To make matters worse for Ruud and co., however, Liverpool’s record on boxing day is pretty mad.
Since the Premier League began, Liverpool have played 26 Boxing Day fixtures, winning 16, drawing five and losing five.
An excellent record in of itself but it is worth noting that Liverpool have won all of their last seven meetings on Boxing Day, not losing since a 2-1 defeat to Manchester City back in 2013.

Leicester City vs Liverpool head-to-head record
While Leicester will be already dreading playing Liverpool on Boxing Day, the Foxes’ head-to-head record versus the Reds will only add to that fear.
The pair first faced off back in 1895, with Liverpool coming out on top on that occasion.
All told, Leicester have managed to beat the Premier League title-chasers 41 times throughout history.
But it is Liverpool who have dominated the fixture, winning 56 times and drawing on 25 occasions.
Arne Slot’s men have won the last four fixtures between these two teams, with the Midlands outfit last coming out on top back on December 28th, 2021.
