West Ham defender Jean-Clair Todibo may not be ready to play the 90 minutes against Southampton after his recent injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that despite the fact he played 45 minutes against Brighton on 21 December, he may not be at a 100 per cent.
The Hammers travel to the south coast to take on Southampton on Boxing Day with both sides struggling in the bottom half of the table.
Speaking exclusively with West Ham Zone, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said: “This one was really vague because the area of injury – hip, pelvic, groin – is quite vague and the description which was mentioned as a ‘little bit of a problem’ is also quite vague.
“Based on what Lopetegui said, it sounded like a week-to-week issue.

Jean-Clair Todibo has had a mixed time at West Ham this season
The French centre-back has not had the best of times since moving to the London Stadium.
While there have been some good performances, he’s also had a few bad games and Julen Lopetegui does not appear to trust him completely.

It remains to be seen if he can go on a run of games where he consisntely delivers on the pitch and becomes a key player for the Hammers.
In other West Ham news, sources claim the Hammers can now secure the services of a £40m player in January.
