Three players Everton could sign from Roma in the January transfer window including familiar…

The transfer window is just around the corner and plans are being put in place to ensure that Everton can secure their Premier League status.

With The Friedkin Group coming in, funds are expected to be made available to bolster the Toffees’ squad and provide some welcome extra options for Sean Dyche.

Given the incoming ownerships’ links to Serie A side Roma, it wouldn’t be remiss to think of Everton using their new-found partnership to discover potential new signings.

Like Everton, Roma are also struggling domestically but are still blessed with plenty of talent, which could catch the eye of the Blues.

So, with that, here’s three Roma stars that Everton could look to bring to Goodison Park in January.

Tammy Abraham

Tammy Abraham, who was valued at £20m in the summer may be at AC Milan this season, but as he is out on loan, there is the option to bring him back to England permanently.

Abraham is a proven goal scorer but has struggled for form ever since returning from a long-term injury.

Unlike other signings though, the England international wouldn’t need a settling-in period if he were to return to the Premier League and would provide extra competition for places.

Whether the forward fancies a return to his home country is another thing, but with Everton struggling for goals, he would be a welcome addition.

Bryan Cristante

Despite not being at his best this season, when Bryan Cristante is playing well, his impact is second to none.

Midfield is an area where Everton are arguably weaker than most and Cristante would bolster those options.

The Italian has a wealth of experience at the top level and his defensive mindset will allow the likes of Abdoulaye Doucoure to get forward and utilise his attcking abilities.

Reports have suggested that Everton are interested in Cristante so a January move would come as no surprise.

Enzo Le Fee

Enzo Le Fee only joined Roma in the summer but, according to several outlets, the Frenchman could be sent out on loan in January.

Le Fee is yet to feature since Ranieri’s appointment and Roma don’t want the 24-year-old’s transfer fee to depreciate in value.

A loan spell could be a good chance for Le Fee to get minutes and most importantly, a player of his quality would make Everton better and improve the chances of survival.
