Former Arsenal winger Jermaine Pennant has cast doubt on Raheem Sterling’s future at Arsenal, suggesting that manager Mikel Arteta no longer trusts the experienced winger. Speaking to Instant Casino, Pennant shared his thoughts on Sterling’s diminished role and why he believes the player is being overlooked for younger talents.

Pennant didn’t hold back in his assessment, pointing to Sterling’s omission in crucial games as evidence of Arteta’s lack of faith in the former Manchester City star.
“It’s clear to me that Mikel Arteta doesn’t trust Raheem Sterling,” Pennant said. “Against Everton, they needed some spark to open the door, and he was left on the bench. He’s getting overlooked for younger talent.”
