RYAN Christie has been one of the most consistent performers in Andoni Iraola’s Cherries side this season.
The Scot has become integral to the side and is often at the heart of much of Bournemouth’s good work, whether that is their relentless press or pulling the strings in attack.
His work was missed when he was suspended for the visit of Brighton, and the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) were beaten 2-1 at the Vitality Stadium.
There was another strong showing in midfield from Christie at Old Trafford against Manchester United.
Asked after the win in Manchester if he was impressed with Christie’s showings of late, Iraola said: “Impressed, no, because we know the level he has, and I think he's been very consistent. Very consistent.
“I think Ryan is giving every week his level, without the ball, on the ball, it's not a surprise anymore.
“I think when you do it consistently for basically more than one year, I would say in that position, I think he is the player he is and he's as good as he's showing for a long period.”
