Man Utd willing to consider huge £120million worth sales – Report

Marcus Rashford Man Utd

After taking over the managerial hotseat at Manchester United’s back in 2022, Erik ten Hag splashed around £600m over the last few years.

He helped United win two domestic cup competitions and guided them to finish third in the Premier League in his debut campaign at Old Trafford.

However, overall, Man Utd didn’t make progress under him and following a string of poor results this season, he was relieved of his duties and Ruben Amorim was appointed as the new head coach.

The Red Devils are currently 13th in the table and they need a complete rebuild once again. However, it has been reported that Man Utd’s finances are tight at the moment and they need to raise funds by selling their stars to add new faces.

Now, TEAMtalk state that Amorim’s side are willing to sell Marcus Rashford in January after growing impatient with his behavior on and off the field.

He was dropped by Amorim in the last three games in all competitions and United want around £60m for the forward with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain showing interest in him.

Saudi Arabia is considered the most likely destination for him if he were to leave Old Trafford next month. However, the forward doesn’t want to move to the Middle East just yet.

On the other hand, Man Utd are also open to accepting offers for Alejandro Garnacho – who has been out of form in recent weeks. Several big clubs such as Atletico Madrid, Manchester City Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus are prepared to hire him on an initial loan deal with an option to make the move permanent next summer.

The Old Trafford club are ready to accept the offer and want £60m for him. So, they are willing to consider a huge £120m worth of sales to boost the transfer funds.

Rashford and Garnacho have been key figures for the Red Devils in recent times but Amorim hasn’t been too impressed with the duo.

Hence, if he feels Man Utd need to upgrade the LW position then cashing-in on them and signing top-class replacements would be the right decision. What do you think?
