Kingstonian travelled to take on a Hanworth Villa side who were smarting from last weekend’s hammering at Southall. The Villains had won five in a row prior to that, whilst the K’s had lost only one of ten- and that became one of eleven and three more points, but they had to wait until late to clinch victory. Brad Wilson put the K’s ahead on ten minutes only for Sam Merson to quickly level, but the match hinged on a red card for Villa’s Ben Mulley just after the hour. Within fifteen minutes the K’s man advantage had turned into a goal advantage, Wilson making it two-one, and Eddie Simon’s twenty third goal of the season put a gloss on victory seven minutes from time. The K’s are four points away from top spot, with a game in hand, Villa are sixth.
