Tottenham head to Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day in search of a much-needed win after another disappointing defeat in the Premier League. Spurs were thrashed 6-3 at home to Liverpool on Sunday - leaving them down in 11th and eight points behind fourth-placed Forest in the top-flight standings.
It had proven to be a positive week for Spurs, who battered Southampton 5-0 and followed that up with a 4-3 win over Manchester United in the Carabao Cup, before that heavy defeat to leaders Liverpool. James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke all scored for Tottenham while Mohamed Salah (2), Luis Diaz (2), Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai found the net for the Reds.
Despite conceding SIX times against Liverpool, Ange Postecoglou's side were once again bright going forward and have now scored the most goals in the Premier League this season with 39 from 17 matches.
Up next for Spurs is a trip to The City Ground to take on an in-form Forest side, who are flying under ex-Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo this season. Forest have won each of their last three Premier League games and are inside the Champions League places right now.
