Liverpool can go into 2025 with their place at the top of the Premier League secure with victory over Leicester City today.
Having spent Christmas looking down on their rivals with a four-point lead after the 6-3 demolition of Tottenham, the Reds know another win today over the Foxes will prevent Chelsea from leapfrogging them before the end of the year.
Arne Slot will of course be hoping his side can do the business again, and strengthen their title hopes in the process as we approach the second half of the season.

Early team news
Liverpool remains without Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley through injury, while Federico Chiesa missed out at Tottenham after a bout of illness. The Italian has been seen back at the AXA Training Centre in the build-up to today's game though, so he should be available.
As for Leicester, the visitors look likely to be without goalkeeper Mads Hermansen again, meaning former Liverpool stopper Danny Ward could be set to face his old side, although he has come under pressure from his own fans recently.
Jakub Stolarczyk is also available as another option in goal, having missed the 3-0 defeat to Wolves, but the Foxes could have a big problem up front. Jamie Vardy picked up a knock at the weekend and will need to be assessed ahead of the game to determine whether he will be fit to play.
