Manchester City v Everton: Gut Feelings

Manchester City welcome Everton to the Etihad Stadium, desperate for the three points that they hope will ignite their title campaign. The Blues have won just once in 12 matches, form that is reminiscent of their campaigns during the first part of the century.

Their only victory is a 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest at the beginning of December and the festive period against some of the lower teams in the league may be the catalyst to picking some points up in the New Year.

Everton have regains some form since their struggles at the start of the season but are struggling to find goals, which may give City’s beleaguered defence a bit of a respite.

City have to win some at this point. 2-1 City.

City 2-1 Everton

Thomas

City are home to Everton on Boxing Day and the lads could give no greater gift to the home fans than a festive season victory. It’s on my Christmas list for sure. Father Christmas delivers the win for City!!

City 3-1 Everton

Dillon

A disgusting 1-0 win

City 1-0 Everton

Will

City will win. Hopefully

City 3-0 Everton

Pete

City to turn on the style this week.

City 4-0 Everton

Here’s the table:
